About Hirad
I'm Hirad, and I've been playing Guitar for 8 years. I initially taught myself fingerstyle but I've always had a deep passion for music and eventually learned different styles such as Classical, Latin American, and recently Flamenco. This has allowed me to become a lot more knowledgeable about the guitar as a whole as well as having a much larger range of techniques under my belt. I have also taught myself Western Music Theory in topics like Harmony, Voice Leading, and Counterpoint, which has helped me understand a new perspective on music.
As a teacher, I always value the student's experience above all else, and I am very flexible to different student's needs. I have had lots of experience as an academic tutor for children in GCSE and as a result I'm experienced at dealing with a range of learning styles.

I teach a range of skills such as classical fingering techniques and flamenco rasgueados. I prefer relaxed teaching styles, allowing the student to feel confident and happy when progressing.
Lessons last for an hour but can be extended if desired.
I have taught neighbours' children the basics of guitar as well as friends
My lessons are suitable for beginner or intermediate classical guitarists, or anyone interested in learning flamenco
