About the lesson

Teaching Functional Breathing, Qigong & Tai Chi, Self-Massage, & Mindfulness. Using breathing to access the Relaxation Response and help people understand what proper breathing is using nose breathing not mouth breathing, belly or deep breathing not shallow chest breathing.
Energetic movement -qigong and tai chi to help move the circulatory systems: blood, lymphatic, and qi; self-massage to stimulate the organ systems and get rid of toxins and mindfulness to relax the mind & body.
Sleep education; Nutrition & Diet. We start out usually sitting and breathing noticing your normal breathing and then slightly changing the cadence or rate of breathing. Stand and do qigong and tai chi, which can be done seated, do self-massage, and finish with mindfulness and what we're grateful for.
