About Ren
I aspire to promote a love of learning in my students. When tutoring, I like to focus on building confidence along with skills. I use humor to build rapport while professionally maneuvering specific learning needs. When a student gains trust in their own ability, I believe success follows. I review my tutee's learning gaps by assessing their understanding and provide curated 1:1 support. I can also provide assessment task support to accelerate their learning. Lessons are usually 1-2 hours in duration. I've been tutoring 1:1 with students for over 11 years. As a teacher, I have taught 7-12 Mathematics, 7-10 Science, HSC Biology and Religious education.

Ren is a wonderful tutor and experienced secondary school teacher. She creates a positive and supportive learning environment for students and takes the time to really understand their individual learning needs. My son was struggling with Maths in particular. Since Ren has been tutoring him in Maths his confidence and attitude towards maths has changed dramatically and he now feels up to date and is enjoying Maths for the first time. We have seen this turn around in a short time and highly recommend Ren as a tutor.
