About Lydia
I am a secondary science teacher of 10 years with as specialism in Biology and an advanced knowledge of Chemistry and Physics. I have previously tutored students who significantly improved their grades from E/D to Cs and a few As. I am an enthusiastic teacher with a wealth of strategies to aid students in their understanding and application of a difficult subject. I have a good understanding of learning difficulties and have experience supporting students with this to help improve their confidence and see this as a strength.

My teaching methods are varied as I assess each student I have and aim to teach them in the style they will best respond to be it audio, kinesthetic or visual. I used models, practical, visuals, colours, active learning games, discussion. I aim to guide students in the right direction and challenge them to achieve there best.
