About Grace
I’m an Irish-trained post-primary Mathematics and Physical Education Teacher who genuinely loves helping students realize what they’re capable of. I’ve worked with learners from a wide range of backgrounds, and one thing has always stood out to me: every student can succeed with the right support and someone who believes in them.
My teaching career has taken me from busy Irish secondary schools to private tutoring, (and I am a professional Surf Coach too!) Each life experience has strengthened my ability to connect with students, understand their challenges, and guide them toward real progress. I’m known for being patient, approachable, and committed to creating a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.
Professionalism is important to me — I prepare thoroughly (but ready to pivot!), communicate clearly, and take pride in being reliable and consistent.

My lessons are structured, supportive, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence, strengthening core understanding, and breaking difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps. I use a mix of guided practice, exam‑style questions, and real‑time feedback to help students develop both skill and independence.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for exam preparation or revision blocks. I teach students from Junior and Leaving Certificate, all levels, as well as adults returning to study.
I am a post‑primary Mathematics teacher from Ireland with over 12 years of classroom and tutoring experience, and I also hold a First Class Honours Higher Diploma in Computer Science and able to offer support for Computer Science subject also.
This background allows me to bring a modern, logical, and student‑friendly approach to problem‑solving.
My lessons are ideal for students who want to:
- Improve confidence and understanding
- Strengthen fundamentals
- Prepare for school exams or international curricula
- Boost grades through structured, personalised support
Whether you’re struggling with a topic or aiming for top marks, I create a calm, encouraging environment where progress feels achievable.
The lessons will be delivered using an online shared whiteboard (for example on zoom) whereby the lesson is delivered on writing pad or shared screens/notes, and the student can show their work if needed, in different ways depending on their setup. This can be discussed and planned before beginning and tailored to each student.
