About the lesson

Secondary school French teacher on the prestigious Teach First graduate programme. I hold a BA French degree from the University of Leeds and I am working towards my PGDE qualification alongside my work in school.

I have a passion for the teaching and learning of the French language, with an excellent cultural knowledge to match, having lived and worked in Brittany and Paris. My tutoring style will not only ensure you develop sound subject knowledge, but that you will foster a love of the language and culture.

My in-depth understanding of the curriculum and new GCSE specification will guarantee results - for students from primary, to GCSE level and beyond.

I have worked as an EFL teacher in Paris (in two primary schools) and am now continuing my love of teaching in the UK (in a secondary setting).

I am very organised and pay close attention to detail, meaning that your programme of learning will be well-structured and suited to your individual needs. Whilst we make quick progress in this one-to-one learning envrionment, my friendly and relaxed manner will mean that you feel comfortable to ask questions, alter the pace of the lessons and give me honest feedback.
