About Roshan
A current Medical Student and Biomedical Sciences’ first-class graduate.
I am ardent, charismatic and understanding towards others with a motivation to teach. I have developed interpersonal skills and am able to multi-task and prioritise making me a proficient and adept teacher. My passion for teaching grew having had previous years of experience in the community and with children, whether it be teaching in a secondary school, teaching English to refugees, serving as a mentor and peer mentor coordinator for university students or, teaching maths to friends and siblings. With the eagerness to learn and progress, I look forward to passionately continuing to support the youth in reaching their goals.

As a tutor, I will tailor my lessons according to each student's level and go at a pace they are comfortable with. I focus on going through each concept and question comprehensively, ensuring students gain a deep understanding and full confidence in each topic. From demonstrating worked examples, to intensive exam-style practice, I effectively equip students with the prime knowledge and robust skills necessary in sitting exams with success. I like nurturing a light-hearted atmosphere when appropriate and, also ensure lessons are engaging and interactive so students gain the determination they need to develop to their best self. I like to reassure that no question is dumb so, I will make certain, students always feel comfortable and supported in clarifying concepts so that they are always left satisfied with their learning experience.

Perfect! In school I found science quite difficult and really struggled to pay attention. Roshan was really patient and helped me to understand my curriculum. She was always prepared with a lesson to suit what she had noticed I struggled with, and closer to my GCSEs she gave me lots of extra worksheets and sessions to aid my revision! Due to her help I ended up getting a 9 in all three of my sciences! Thank you Roshan!!

Roshan has been teaching my son maths and science, and the results have been fantastic. My son was struggling with confidence in these subjects before, but Roshan's patient and clear teaching style has made a real difference. She takes the time to explain concepts thoroughly and makes sure he actually understands the topics rather than just memorising steps. What stands out most is how she adapts her approach to match his learning pace, and she's always encouraging, which has helped him enjoy both subjects a lot more.
