About Leigh
My name is Leigh, I reside is Gauteng. I got 6 distinctions in my matric year. I am also a creative, where I paint, draw, act and sing. I have an upbeat personality meaning that you will always find me in a good mood.
My mother is a high school teacher which is where I think I get the love for knowledge and passing it on from. It makes me so happy to see a student not only do better in a subject but actually find a new love for learning.
I have always been a hard and smart worker and will try my best to pass that onto my students. Where I will show the importance of being on time by being on time myself. Everything I will do in the session is in the best interest of the student. But my teaching will always be calm. I will always be there for a student be it academically or for other reasons. As my student's are my priority.

I am currently a student and only matriculated 2 years ago, which makes me very aware of the stresses students have. I have a very specific style of teaching that encourages the love of a subject but I still make sure to include exam tips and stay on track with their syllabus.
I teach Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in English with a one-on-one approach, where I also interact with the learner on a personal level. Creating a relationship where they can trust me.
My lessons start with a theory session then doing practice papers. I give plenty of real life examples and also try give funny ways to remember facts. I have taught four students individually and taught an entire class.
I am very patient and will not give up on any student. I have a great passion for teaching and learning.
