About Rayyah
I’m a second year undergraduate English Literature student at the University of Nottingham, who enjoys working closely with students to help them feel more confident and capable in their studies.
I want to teach because I understand how overwhelming exams can feel, and I enjoy helping students develop clear strategies that make the subject feel more manageable. I find 1-to-1 tutoring especially rewarding, as it allows me to support each student individually.
I'd love to share my passion for English with other students, to help everyone go into their exams confident and calm.

I specialise in AQA GCSE English Language and English Literature, as well as 11+ preparation. My teaching is focused on helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how to apply clear, effective strategies in the exam.
All of my lessons are 1-to-1 and fully tailored to the individual student. I adapt each session to suit the student’s current level, learning style and goals, whether they are building confidence, aiming to pass, or pushing for higher grades. Lessons are structured, supportive and practical, with a strong focus on exam technique, clear explanations and targeted feedback.
I work with students across a range of abilities and aim to create a calm, encouraging learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
