About Rose
I am a second year sociology student at a prestigious university, having left high school with A grade Higher Modern Studies as well as an Advanced Higher Modern Studies qualification, including an A grade dissertation. I have also studied English literature to a high level as well as other essay based subjects such as History of Art, and so have excellent ability in essay writing, analysis of information and source gathering. My range of subject interests also means I am able to look outside the box and consider many different perspectives, something which is key to the study of sociology.

I think that tutoring should be guided primarily by the specific needs of the student; leaning on their strengths to develop their skills and work on any gaps in knowledge or understanding of the subject. My lessons would revolve around the current curriculum being followed by the student in their place of education, focusing on any problems the student may be having but also affirming and practicing general skills. I try to be as open and understanding as possible so my students will feel comfortable being open with me about anything they may be struggling with, so we can come together to create a plan.
