About Nicolas
I am a second-year Politics student at the University of Warwick, aiming for a First. I have a strong belief that hard work - but also working smarter - can get you anywhere. While I am now an undergraduate, I was only last year studying for A-Levels and, therefore, it is very much so fresh in my mind!
Whether it is GCSE or A-Level Politics, I found that the main reason for success was to have a passion in the subject. That may sound easier said than done but I hope to ignite some passion in the subject for you. Lessons, therefore, will not just focus on how to structure your answers or on past-papers but will also focus on the subject and current affairs itself. A-Level Politics examiners, especially, like to see knowledge beyond the curriculum and I hope to inspire you to love this subject and explore it deeper. It may even lead to a life-long interest and passion.
I want to be able to share with you how politics shapes our world and why political events happen. The deeper you go into the subject, the more likely you are to achieve that grade and the less likely revision will feel like a chore.

I achieved 3A*s at A-Level, including in AQA A-Level Politics, and won the "Best in Year" prize for Politics at my school, along with the rest of my A-Level subjects and, therefore, have experience you can feel confident in. Being an incoming second year student at Warwick, I sat my A-Level exams in 2023 and, therefore, remember the curriculum and what is required for success very well. I am able to offer 1-2 hour weekly lessons, personalised to what you feel you need to focus most on, along with tips and advice that should maximise your chance of success.
