About Sirban
I am a second-year LLB student at the University of Law, passionate about the subject and committed to helping others develop the same confidence and enthusiasm for it that I have built throughout my own legal education. Having achieved an A in A-level Law myself, I have a clear and personal understanding of exactly what the course demands, what examiners are looking for, and how to navigate the challenges that students at this level commonly face.
Beyond my academic background, I bring real-world experience that enriches my approach to teaching. I am fluent in English, Arabic and Kurdish, which allows me to support students from a wide range of backgrounds, and my experience managing properties and working across a variety of professional environments has given me strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills that I bring into every session.
I am patient, approachable and genuinely invested in the progress of every student I work with. Whether you are just starting out and finding your feet, working through difficult topics, or pushing for that top grade, I will tailor every session to where you are and where you want to be. I know what it takes to succeed at A-level Law because I have done it, and I am here to help you do the same.

My approach to teaching A-level Law online is structured, engaging and tailored to the individual needs of each student. I believe that law, at its core, is a subject that rewards clarity of thought and precision of expression — and my sessions are designed to build both.
I begin by assessing each student's current understanding, identifying any gaps in knowledge and establishing a clear plan that aligns with their exam board's specification. From there, I break down complex legal concepts, case law and statutes into digestible, easy-to-understand segments, ensuring students not only memorise key material but genuinely understand how and why the law operates as it does.
A significant focus of my sessions is exam technique. I train students to structure their answers effectively using the IRAC method: Issue, Rule, Application and Conclusion. Helping them to score across all assessment objectives with confidence. Regular practice questions, timed exercises and detailed feedback are central to my sessions, as I find that consistent, constructive feedback is one of the most powerful tools in a student's development.
Online sessions are made as interactive and dynamic as possible, making use of shared documents, visual aids and real-world legal examples to bring the subject to life and maintain engagement throughout. I adapt my pace and teaching style to suit each individual, whether they need patient, step-by-step guidance or a faster-paced challenge to push them further.
My goal is not simply to help students pass their exams, but to leave them with a genuine appreciation for the law and the confidence to think and argue like a lawyer.
