About Bay
My name is Bay and I am a second-year LLB student aspiring to be a solicitor. I am passionate about teaching law as I believe it is the most interesting and impactful subject you could learn as it affects every one of our lives. My aim is not only to help you understand the law but to be able to think critically and apply what you learn every day.
Having been through the experiences of A levels and the exams you will soon sit through. I know how challenging it can be at times. But I also know how rewarding the good grades can be.
I want to help others succeed and grow. I want to provide support to be able to work through challeneges and produce good results.

My approach is to ensure students have clarity and engagement. I ensure that students are not only aware of the legal concepts but can apply them to scenarios that they will face in the exam.
- Conceptual understanding is my main importance: To ensure I break down complex legal principles into smaller parts to help them remember
- Interactive learning is also important to me. We will engage in discussions, debates and questions to get their mind thinking more.
- I will also help with revision techniques, including how to structure answers and how to manage their time.
A typical lesson would last 60-90 minutes.
- Introducing and explaining a topic (20 minutes)
- Working through case law and examples (20 minutes)
- Active discussion or problem-solving exercises (30 minutes)
- Review past exam questions (15 minutes)

I am currently in my second year of my LLB degree at Cardiff University. I also have achieved a grade A in law at A level. I have completed modules including Criminal and Civil. Human Rights Law, Contract law and public law. Moreover, I am familiar with the A-level law syllabus (AQA, OCR,). During my studies, I have tutored my peers and I am currently a mentor to year 1 LLB students.
The target of my tutoring is towards those who are either in Year 1 or Year 2 of their Law A level studies.
