About Maria
I am a second year BA fashion atelier student in University with a former experience in garment design and construction in made to measure clothing from a vocational degree back in own home country in Finland. Other areas of expertice for more advanced lessons are machine embroidery, Tailoring and soft sewing with couture quality results.

Depending on the level of experience of student lessons can start with a main basic theory of sewing (how to thread and use a sewing machine, basic seams and finishes) following with theory of how pattern work and how they are used to create 3-dimensional garments out of 2-dimensional materials such as fabric.
Starting with simple garments, my aim is to get students to be able to create own designs without any issues and with a high-quality finish. Also making sure to develop their skills in creative sewing and problem solving as well

With more advanced creative pattern making and garment construction with atelier finishing rate goes up by £5 more making it £20 and hour
