About Judith
I am a US citizen, born and raised in New York City. I have my Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science and Psychology from CUNY's Macaulay Honors Program, which is a competitive program that gives each student a full scholarship, a free Macbook Pro, and other benefits.
I started playing chess when I was 10, and participated in my first over-the-board tournament at 12. I placed top three. I was a member of my high school's chess team, playing junior varsity. Our school was known for bringing our warface to each match. I would spend time going to Washington Square Park playing with the chess hustlers and matching wits with them. I also have a YouTube channel where I produce videos of me playing blitz games while providing live commentary.

My teaching method is pretty simple: you will learn through practice. I will assign you short readings. I will also have you do daily chess problems then we will go over them. We will play one-on-one then analyze the game afterward. Once you hire me consider me your coach! I teach primarily curious beginners or intermediate players who want a steady sparring partner.
