About Taytum
I’m a writer who loves helping people find clarity and confidence in their voice! Writing has always been one of my favorite tools for thinking, storytelling, and making sense of the world, and I enjoy sharing that process with others.
My background in film taught me how important clear communication and strong ideas are, whether you’re writing an essay, developing an argument, or working on a screenplay. I bring that perspective into tutoring by helping students organize their thoughts, strengthen their voice, and feel more confident expressing themselves on the page.
I’m patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping students grow. My goal is to make writing feel less intimidating and more like a skill anyone can develop with guidance and practice.

I teach a variety of writing skills and tailor it to your specific goals.
For me, good writing is natural and intuitive. In my lessons, I focus on helping students communicate and listen to their own voice.
I work with students on a range of writing, from essays and school assignments to creative writing and screenwriting! I tailor each lesson to the student’s specific goals. My approach is collaborative and supportive. We’ll read closely, revise thoughtfully, and break down the writing process simply so it feels manageable rather than overwhelming.
A typical lesson might include reviewing a draft together, fleshing out ideas, or working through your goals. My job is to help you get where you want to go, and tap into the way you speak and write, naturally.
