About Aazim
I am an accomplished and resilient educator with eight years of experience across a wide range of educational settings, including secondary schools, alternative provisions, further education colleges and university centres. Throughout my career, I have developed strong behaviour management strategies and the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues and external professionals. These skills have been essential when supporting students with SEND, those removed from mainstream education, and young people from challenging or complex backgrounds.
I have taught a broad range of subjects across all year groups, but my specialist areas are Health & Social Care and Science. In Science, I have extensive experience delivering GCSE Combined Science and GCSE Triple Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics). I am confident in breaking down complex scientific concepts into accessible, engaging learning experiences that help students build confidence, close knowledge gaps and achieve strong outcomes. My teaching experience includes preparing students for exams, supporting coursework, delivering practical science, and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
I am passionate about helping learners realise their potential, especially those who may have previously struggled in traditional classroom environments. My approach is patient, structured and supportive, ensuring every student feels capable, motivated and empowered to succeed.
