About Oliver
I am an extremely passionate and enthusiastic person who is keen to help students of all abilities through subjects I love. I have extensive experience with teaching small groups especially in biology. I am capable of teaching GCSE and A-level as well as extending knowledge beyond the syllabus. I got 3A*s and 1 A at A-level as well as 8 A*s and two 9s at GCSE (including English and Maths- which I took early) I also completed AdMaths an OCR freestanding maths qualification and got a top grade while in year 11. Having been through the system successfully I have a detailed knowledge of the Oxbridge admissions procedure including personal statement writing and interview skills. I am an empathetic and understanding person, I am dyslexic and have a painful wealth of personal experience with the struggles of being an SEN student and feeling behind in key areas relative to my peers. I have also worked before with SEN students.

Offering 30-90 minute sessions teaching biology, chemistry or maths to GCSE and A-level students. Currently working as a biology teacher at a SEN school with extensive experience with neurodivergent students and a huge range of abilities. Able to adapt lesson plans to individual goals including extending beyond the syllabus and for university admissions. Experience in Oxbridge and Russell Group admissions, worked with students with special educational needs including dyslexia, ADHD and Autism in the past.
