About Guy
Hi, my name is Guy! I am a professional woodwind player in the Manhattan New York area, performing in orchestras, pit bands, big bands, and as a soloist. I graduated from the Manhattan School of Music with my Master's Degree. For almost a decade, I have been teaching Saxophone, Clarinet, and Flute to students of all ages and skill levels. Much of my curriculum will prepare students for NYSSMA and ARSM exams, but it will also improve on the students' understanding of their instrument and musicality. I would be happy to be your teacher if you are looking to improve your skills on saxophone, clarinet, flute, or learn more about music theory. I teach in person and online, so please reach out for a free first lesson. We will discuss your goals and find a lesson plan that works for you!

Perfect! Guy was very engaging with my teen. He was able to provide instruction a provided a supportive environment. My son plays two instruments one that he is new at and one he has experience in. Guy was able to pivot and provide instruction for both levels.

Perfect! Guy is a awesome teacher for my son. We love him ️
Perfect! First, Guy is wonderful at giving useful recommendations regarding supplies and at communicating promptly and clearly. He came to our house for my daughter's first clarinet lesson. She has no prior knowledge of music except for what she learnt at her music class at her local public school. Guy was amazing at teaching her the first steps. My daughter is now even more excited to learn the clarinet than she was at first. Outstanding experience so far!
Perfect! So far so good! It is the second time guy met my 10yo son for a Saxophone lesson. My son enjoys the time with guy and excited to learn.

Guy is an excellent teacher. He is patient and allows students to make mistakes. Helpfully demonstrating each part that a pupil might have qualms about, Guy is always supportive. Most importantly, he challenges students with difficult pieces so as to greatly add to their ability. This is why I would recommend Guy.
Guy is an awesome teacher for all woodwinds. He has been an asset to our studio in Holbrook for many years and we would recommend him for anyone who wants to become a better musician. Caring and professional at all times.
Very fun guy, does everything he can to understand your level of playing and learning requirments.
Guy is amazing. Friendly, smart, Uber talented, flexible and he gets along great with my son, 14. He’s taught sax to my son for four years. Guy knows all types of sax music and genres; he always accommodates our needs; and my son has grown into a sax loving and pretty talented musician because of Guy.
