About Sasha
Throughout my education, I was fortunate enough to be mentored by many of the biggest classical and jazz musicians in the PNW and throughout the nation. Great players like Ron Carter, Wycliffe Gordon, and Gary Harris all made me the musician I am today. Following the footsteps of these great players, I decided to start teaching local saxophone players at my old middle school as a way to understand what it means to mentor a younger generation. Since starting teaching, I have had students much older and younger than I am at varying skill levels.
