About Neil
Hello! My name is Neil, and I am an IB Diploma graduate from The Doon School and an incoming BEng Aerospace Engineering student.
Throughout high school, I developed a strong passion for mathematics, physics, and engineering. I completed IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches HL, Physics HL, and Chemistry HL, and I also took the SAT three times, achieving a highest score of 750 in SAT Math. Going through the SAT multiple times gave me valuable insight into the exam, common student challenges, and the strategies that genuinely improve performance.
Beyond my academics, I enjoy simplifying complex concepts and helping others build confidence in their abilities. I believe that understanding why something works is far more valuable than memorizing formulas or shortcuts. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor every lesson to the student's current ability, learning style, and target score. Having taken the SAT three times and achieved a highest score of 750 in SAT Math, I understand the exam from a student's perspective and know the common mistakes that prevent students from achieving their goals.
My lessons focus on building strong mathematical foundations before moving on to advanced problem-solving and exam strategies. We work through official-style questions, review mistakes in detail, develop time-management techniques, and learn efficient methods for tackling difficult questions confidently.
I also support students studying IB Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches HL, IB Physics HL, IGCSE Mathematics, and IGCSE Physics, helping them strengthen conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorization.
As an IB Diploma graduate and incoming Aerospace Engineering student , I aim to make challenging topics approachable through clear explanations, structured practice, and regular feedback. My goal is not only to improve grades and SAT scores but also to help students become confident, independent learners.
