About Natalie
I have been a teaching assistant for upper division Molecular Biology and Neuroscience courses at UC San Diego, and my extensive biology coursework makes me a great resource for students hoping to improve their understanding of their Biology courses and improve their grades. I took a broad range of courses in college, but I am especially knowledgeable in the subjects of Anatomy and Physiology, Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience. In addition to teaching, I have served as a high school track and field coach and really enjoy being a mentor for younger students; in addition to helping improve their grades, I can also offer advice on college admissions and future career options.

My teaching approach is to challenge students to gain a deep level of understanding of the subject material, not simply having them memorize answers. I believe it is crucial for a student to wholly understand the whole picture, rather than strictly memorizing answers, in order to truly learn a subject. Therefore, my lessons will be tailored to the student's current level of understanding and work directly with them to broaden their base of knowledge.
