About Allyson
Outside of work, I love spending time with my puppy, Rudy, and making memories with my family and friends. You'll often find me relaxing at the beach, listening to music, or enjoying the outdoors whenever I can. I love exploring new places, trying new restaurants, and making the most of my free time. I'm easygoing, positive, and enjoy finding joy in the little things, whether it's a beach sunset, a walk with my puppy, or a fun day spent with the people I care about.

Hi! I'm Allyson, a certified elementary school teacher with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education (PreK–4) and Special Education (K–12) from La Salle University. I currently teach elementary school full-time and am passionate about helping students grow academically while building confidence in their abilities.
My tutoring sessions are engaging, personalized, and designed to meet each child's unique learning needs. I use hands-on activities, games, visuals, and differentiated instruction to make learning enjoyable while reinforcing important skills. I believe every child can succeed when they feel supported, encouraged, and challenged at the right level.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previously learned material, followed by direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities. We finish with independent practice or a quick assessment to celebrate progress and identify any areas that need additional support. I adjust every lesson based on each student's goals, learning style, and pace.
What sets me apart is my classroom experience, special education background, and commitment to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that every learner is different, and I enjoy finding creative ways to help concepts "click."
I offer tutoring for students in PreK through 5th grade in reading, phonics, writing, math, homework help, study skills, and test preparation. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to strengthen foundational skills, or is looking for enrichment, I look forward to helping them become a more confident and successful learner.
