About Sakshi

I am a gold medalist law graduate, and I have been giving law classes for the last 4 years in both offline and online modes. I am pursuing judiciary and have cleared prelims and mains of UP and MP judicial services. I am a practicing lawyer at Allahabad High Court. I have a good command over drafting cases.

About the lesson

I believe in conceptual clarity for that I explain every topic very deeply by using illustrations, diagrams and short notes. I take questionnaire sessions to ensure that students remember the section numbers. I also conduct mock tests and deal with relevant and recent case laws.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I decided to pursue my career in Law because I believe that Law is the fundamental of life and liberty. A career in Law is intellectually challenging, financially rewarding and personally fulfilling. Also when I lean towards the typical Indian mentality , I can say that it was my father's dream to study Law which remained unfulfilled and I decided to fulfill that as well .
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
Firstly, I decided to study law to vindicate my father's unrealised dreams for himself, and when it comes to teaching law, I believe that knowledge is a thing which increases when it is shared and also I wanted to share something which I have with the society for its development. I also want to give the credit of my teaching style and developing my interest in teaching to my mentor, who guided me in my preparation for the Judiciary.
How does your work help society?
Law is important for a society as it serves as a norm of conduct for its citizens. It is important to understand the laws as people would be saved from unintentionally committing crimes and suffering punishments through the awareness of laws. Legal education is crucial in India as it allows citizens by equipping them with knowledge of their rights and legal system, which enables them to navigate legal issues. Also, when we talk about the students to whom I teach, it helps them to have knowledge at their doorstep as I provide online classes and also my classes are budget friendly for them.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
For teaching law, my role model is my mentor who guided me throughout my judiciary preparation as he was available for me at any time of the day and he had the idea of teaching students with a previous mindset that the student sitting before him is unaware of the basic things about the law. He was very much dedicated towards his profession and teaching students was not just his profession, but it was his passion and that's why he gave his best in it.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
As I am preparing for judicial examinations, I don't get that much time to have some extra curricular activities, but whatever time I get, I enjoy reading fictional books,listening music, and to travel.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
I am in this teaching profession since long time and what I have realised here is that most of the students I taught are in their middle that is around 35 to 40 and still they have that curiosity and excitement to know something new and understand their legal right and liabilities towards this country. Their excitement and curiosity at this age inspires me a lot to do my best in this field and help others who want to make themselves aware.
