About Juan Pablo
I have had experience teaching children and young adults aged 7-18 at either workshops of 5-20 people or individual lessons.
Younger children who have studied with me either piano or percussion have become confident players, being able to go from never playing an instrument before to playing full phrases and melodies in a single session, later even playing in concerts! Older children/ young adults who have studied composition with me have gone on to achieve A-B in their GCSE compositions and some even in A-level.

I am an energetic composer, pianist and multi-instrumentalist who offers lessons in piano (classical and jazz), composition, music theory and music technology from beginners to A-level students and intermediate to advanced instrumentalists.
I bring a flexible, two way approach to teaching. Whether the student is focused on doing their ABRSM exams, wants to learn how play jazz, or just learn their favourite Adele song, I will be able to help them achieve their goal whilst disciplining them on technique and musicianship in a friendly and engaging way.
I also teach composition, music theory and production for those who want to write their first sonata, concerto, or want to make pop songs, write for films or a musical, as well as those who want to achieve top grades at GCSE or A-level in Music. In addition, music technology classes are also available for those who want to achieve top grades at GCSE or A-level music technology, or just want to be able to use Logic, Pro-tools or Ableton to make their next amazing album.
