About Pablo
I'm an experienced, award-winning music teacher, performer, and composer based in London. My musical journey has taken me from Dublin, where I earned a diploma in Contemporary Music at Newpark Music Centre, to Scotland, where I completed a First-Class Honours degree in Composition at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and most recently to London, where I graduated with Distinction from the MA programme at the Royal Academy of Music. Whether you're preparing for a music exam, working on your own compositions, recording songs, learning theory, or simply playing for enjoyment, I’m here to help you achieve your goals. My teaching is rooted in a holistic approach that supports each student’s individual learning path, with lessons tailored to what’s most relevant for your development and enjoyment. Since 2016, I’ve been teaching piano, music theory, and composition in schools and privately across Ireland and Scotland, working with both children and adults. I have prepared students for ABRSM, Trinity, RIAM, and School of Rock theory and performance exams across all grades. That said, I don’t believe in limiting lessons to exam content, but they often emerge naturally from our broader work together. In addition to private teaching, I’ve worked as a composer, accompanist, and musical director, and held posts such as Musician in Residence at Gordonstoun School and Musicianship Tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. This broad experience informs my flexible, student-centred approach to lessons, where creativity, expression, and technical growth go hand in hand.

My teaching takes a holistic approach, drawing on a wide range of methodologies tailored to each student’s unique needs and aspirations. Together, we’ll build a personalised path for your musical development, with performance at its core. Lessons can focus on Classical, Pop, Film, or Jazz repertoire, or take a blended approach across styles. We can also delve into musicianship, theory, composition, and songwriting, depending on your goals. For younger students, I use engaging, up-to-date methods that make learning enjoyable while fostering independence and strong practice habits.
