About Theodora
As a person i have been helping my peer with math since I was 10. This alignment with numbers prepped me for my later studies as an economics student. I grew up in California and decided to branch-out in my late teenage years to DC. I appreciated the diversity within my hometown and I currently appreciate the sense of community in DC. These environments have allowed me to meet a lot of different types of people. One thing everyone has in common is the ability to succeed in their own right. Whether it is exceling at school, having balanced relationships, dominanting at work, raising a family I have learned everyone has something to teach someone else. Thats why I value learning from the students i tutor as much as they learn from me.

If you want to learn from a young person who is likely more relatable to you, you should take lessons with me. I make sure to ask questions to gage your understanding about the topics. I am an economics major and have fulfilled all my major course requirements including but not limited to: intermediate microeconomics, intro to econometrics, and applied calculus. I enjoy getting to learn about people and their experiences so we can have real conversations as well. As a tutor i will ask overarching topics you are struggling with and then we will work on practice problems together to solve it. If there is something i do not knowI am not afraid to google but I will not rely on it. I am willing to read the course textbooks with you to help you better understand the ideas expressed.
