About Ashley
After so many years in the classroom, I really enjoy working with students in an individual capacity. Building a good relationship with each student is imperative to a successful lesson. I work hard to make each lesson interesting and easy to follow.

I personalize my lesson plans to meet individual students needs. I teach them strategies for decoding and learning in a supportive manner. I also make the lessons fun and engaging. Comprehension and writing skills are part of the reading process. This combination of phonics, strategies, writing and comprehension is the fastest way to get students caught up and confident in their reading skills.
