I always tried to make math fun and engaging by applying the concepts to real world situations. I believe the calculator is your best friend when it comes to those struggling with math. When you break down a problem to it’s individual steps, it is easier to solve.

I taught mostly small group instruction to 6th grade through 8th grade students who were struggling with math concepts. Classes were generally 4 to 10 students with a lot of hands on activities and one on one instruction.
