My focus areas include social-emotional learning, character education, self-advocacy, and transition skills (including service-learning). I target math, reading, and daily living skills. I build a student's confidence, independence, and resilience to improve further education/training, employment, independent living, and community involvement.

About the lesson

I utilize an individualized one-to-one learning and teaching approach. I use multisensory activities to teach concepts tailored to each student's strengths, preferences, interests, needs, and support needs. I provide choices to encourage all students to be active and engaged learners.
