About Jan
I am a retired professional project manager and planner having been involved with mega projects in my life span where analytical and creative thinking in English was essential. As a team leader I have guided many other professionals(engineers, architects, QS and planners through difficult and complex assignments with great success. My approach is to first fully understand requirements of each topic or assignment through workshopping it with the client/student so that we both have a strong basis of understanding the complexities and have a strong basis to build on. Realistic goals and timeframes are set so that targets can be achieved. I have covered a wide range of multidisciplinary assignments and can therefore contribute in a wide variety of subjects.

My teaching method is to firstly understand who you are and what are your strengths and weaknesses so that we can focus on enhancing your skills relative to what is required from your study course. In other words with what do you need assistance, what are your challenges and how best can we both devise a plan to attain success in the shortest timespan.
If you for instance have a problem with self confidence we will address that as well, as success breeds success and you need to feel good about achievements even if they are small in the beginning. We need to build you as a person who should be honest with your abilities and then focus hard on developing your talents as best as we can with the motto: yes you can.
I will guide you through your assignments and make sure you develop confidents in yourself. And lastly, you need to enjoy your classes.
