About Dominick
My goal as a tutor is to help students become confident in their abilities to learn and to achieve their goals of higher grades in school and to get higher scores on the standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. From my 30+ years of teaching, I believe that I have the experience and ability to be a highly effective tutor.

My students will benefit from the tutoring lessons in that they will gain confidence in their studying and learning. Students are provided with engaging study materials. Instructor will work through topics and problems with the students and will identify problems and discuss ways to overcome deficiencies. Then student will apply learned concepts and will build on their knowledge. An example could be applying what is learned about the people of the Enlightenment and how their ideas influenced the founding of American government. In math, applying lessons determining how to calculate area will show students why it's important if you were tiling a floor or painting a wall. These are very basic examples I admit, but understanding and applying concepts helps students clearly understand why things work which is very important when writing essays and answering test questions.
