About David
I am a retired English teacher that is also experienced in other courses. I have extensive experience with helping students with essay writing and the like. I'm also willing to help in other subjects. In addition to ELA courses, I've taught Transition (Career Preparation class) and assisted students in core classes in a Credit Recovery lab.

Having worked in juvenile detention, I work well with most types of learners and can tutor from elementary to High School and GED as well. My techniques and approach vary, dependent upon the subject and student preference. I find it best to see examples of student work and determine where to focus attention. You'll find that I'm low key with a dry sense of humor.
