About David
With a Ph.D. in English from the University of Delaware (1991), I am a retired Prof. of English with 30+ years of experience teaching courses in composition, American and world literature, critical theory, and literary research and writing. I also have a background in teaching and tutoring both high-school and college students studying English as a Second Language (ESL), plus experience teaching business writing, including resume/cv and cover letter writing preparation. As a long-time member of the graduate faculty at my former university, I had the opportunity to direct many masters-level students in the writing of their theses, too.
