Private Tutoring Philosophy
I believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to learning. Every student has different needs, goals, learning styles, and experiences, and I strive to meet each student where they are.
I give 100% of myself to supporting my students and helping them succeed. At the same time, I value mutual respect, professionalism, and healthy boundaries. I encourage students to set short-term, achievable goals, and I will work alongside you to help you reach those goals in American Sign Language (ASL).
Your privacy and personal concerns are important to me. I respect each student’s confidentiality and will never judge you based on your personal circumstances or challenges. I believe that open and honest communication is essential, especially when discussing deadlines, expectations, or concerns—whether working individually or as part of a group.
I also believe that sharing and exchanging information, experiences, and ideas speaks volumes. Learning is a collaborative process, and I welcome respectful communication, questions, and the exchange of ideas. My goal is to create a supportive, positive, and respectful tutoring environment where you feel comfortable learning, growing, and working toward your goals.
