About Talia
I am a violin tutor with over 8 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Orchestral Studies, serving as a Violin Section Leader. My training emphasizes precision and teamwork. Both shape my lessons.
I integrate slow-down apps, DAWs, MIDI notation, and video analysis into practice sessions. Students can clearly track their progress. Technology supports growth.
For those recording original music or covers, I teach careful layering and expressive phrasing. Timing and tone are refined through playback analysis. Recording improves awareness.
Jazz Violin, Rock Strings, and Indie Folk inspire much of my work. Improvisation is guided with custom backing tracks and structured creativity. Expression becomes confident.

I believe violin students should understand the structure behind every note they play. My lessons integrate music theory directly into practice time. Learning becomes logical.
Scales and keys are explored through finger patterns and shifting exercises. Intervals are practiced by ear and by hand position. Connections become clear.
We study chord theory through arpeggios and harmonic breakdown of repertoire pieces. Students learn how melodies connect to chords. Insight replaces confusion.
