• When did you start your personal development? What motivated this choice?

  I started my professional development as a high school Math and Science teacher in 1998. I took this choice since I enjoy teaching to the extent that I believe that I was born to be a teacher.

• Describe your own understanding of "personal development" and what can it bring in the short and long-term?

  For me, personal development is the realization of goals in life. In the short-term, it gives me the power to start my day, every day, with a smile since I feel that I am closer to my goal. In the long-term, personal development brings me the feeling of joy especially when I achieve a goal and start thinking of a new one.

• What are some practical tips to help improve self-confidence?

  The most important tip to improve self-confidence is:
  
  Don't worry about making mistakes if you are learning from your mistakes.

• Do you think a teacher can learn from his students? Is there a lesson where you have experienced this?

  I believe that the teacher should learn something new from every student he/she teaches. I always learn from my students how to improve my teaching methods, and I feel happy when my student corrects a mistake I made because this indicates that he/she is attentive.

• What personalities do you admire; who represents personal and professional success in your opinion?

  I admire Iman Ali Ibn Abi Taleb who said "Wealth is diminished by spending while knowledge grows by use". For me as a teacher, this person represents personal and professional success especially when I use my knowledge to teach my students and I see how they benefit from it.

• What are your hobbies and what benefits do they have on your motivation?

  My hobbies are reading and walking. Reading motivates me since with every book I discover a new life experience, while walking in nature helps me refresh my mind and body.

• Who are your classes for, specifically? Is this domain open to all?

  My classes are for all students who need support to pass their course and reach their goals.

• Being a Superprof requires some adaptability. Tell us about your methods for adapting to different individuals.

  As a teacher with more than 24 years of experience I know that students differ from one another, but I believe that every student has strong points that make him/her special. My role, as a private tutor, is to (a) diagnosis the weak points and the strong points of each student, (b) determine the standards of the course that the student asks me to help him/her with, then fill the gaps (weak points) of the student to help him/her reach the course standards. This is my method for adapting to different students.
