About Cody
With 11 years of experience in music education, I am a dedicated flute tutor committed to helping students from school to college level achieve their goals and grow with confidence. Music has always been my passion, and teaching allows me to share that passion in a meaningful way.
Throughout my journey, I have guided many students, helping them overcome challenges and improve their performance skills. A key milestone in my career has been preparing students for competitions and stage performances, where they have successfully showcased their talent.
My teaching approach is clear, practical, and flexible, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, posture, tone quality, and finger placement. I also encourage creativity and self-expression so students can enjoy learning.
I believe that music education is not just about skill development but also about building discipline, focus, and confidence, and my goal is to create a positive and inspiring learning environment.

I use a structured teaching methodology based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to help students learn flute effectively. I believe that learning music should be both enjoyable and disciplined. I start by understanding each student’s level and goals so I can plan lessons that suit them best.
I motivate students by setting achievable targets and recognising their progress, which helps them stay focused. Communication plays a key role in my teaching, as I explain breathing techniques, fingering, posture, and tone production in a simple and clear manner. With integrity, I ensure students learn step by step and build strong fundamentals.
I provide honest feedback and guide them patiently. Creativity helps me make lessons more engaging by including songs, exercises, and interactive activities. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to support overall learning.
