About Faye
For the past 12+ years, I have enjoyed teaching Spanish to High School and College students who are eager to develop their language skills. During this time, I have successfully guided around 150 students towards academic improvement and greater confidence. Teaching gives me the opportunity to make a positive difference in students' lives while sharing my passion for the Spanish language.
My teaching philosophy focuses on creating lessons that are practical, engaging, and student-friendly. I explain grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, and listening using clear examples and interactive learning methods. Students are encouraged to practise regularly through conversations, role-playing, language games, and real-life situations that make Spanish easier to remember.
I understand that every learner progresses differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to match each student's pace and goals. Regular assessments, revision sessions, and detailed feedback help students recognise their progress and stay motivated throughout their learning journey.
Helping around 150 students improve their communication skills and examination results has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Watching learners become confident Spanish speakers reminds me why I enjoy teaching.
I believe education should inspire confidence and curiosity. My classroom is built on patience, respect, and encouragement, allowing students to learn comfortably while achieving lasting success.

I teach Spanish with a methodology that is interactive, engaging, and student-focused. Accountability ensures learners set clear goals, track progress, and take ownership of their learning. Integrity guarantees lessons are honest, fair, and customised to each student’s strengths and challenges.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies to suit different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal goals.
Communication is central; I encourage discussion, conversation, and interactive exercises to help students internalise grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation naturally. A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates achievements, and builds confidence.
I also integrate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to provide context and practical application. My aim is to help students gain fluency, confidence, and a lasting passion for Spanish.
