About Greer
Teaching Spanish has been an inspiring journey for me over the last 12 years. During this time, I have successfully worked with around 150 High School and College students, helping them strengthen their language skills and build confidence. Every learner has unique goals, and I enjoy creating lessons that support those goals in a positive and encouraging way.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, regular practice, and continuous motivation. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises and practical examples. Students participate in conversations, discussions, reading activities, and revision sessions that help them understand and remember what they learn.
I believe making mistakes is a natural part of learning. My classroom is a safe and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new things. Regular feedback allows them to improve steadily while staying motivated.
Helping students achieve higher examination scores and communicate confidently in Spanish has been one of the most satisfying achievements of my career. Their progress inspires me to continue providing high-quality learning experiences.
My goal is to help every learner discover the joy of Spanish while building skills that will remain valuable throughout life.

My teaching approach combines creativity, critical thinking, mentoring, and accountability to create a positive and effective Spanish learning experience. I believe language learning should help students gain confidence while developing practical communication skills that can be used every day.
Lessons are personalized according to each student's learning pace, interests, and future goals. I use conversations, storytelling, language games, role plays, videos, pronunciation practice, listening exercises, reading activities, and writing tasks to create engaging lessons that improve every language skill.
Critical thinking is encouraged by helping students recognize grammar patterns, understand vocabulary through context, and create meaningful conversations using their own ideas. This allows students to communicate naturally and confidently.
As a mentor, I provide continuous encouragement, patient explanations, and individualized guidance. I create a classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing regularly, and learning from every experience.
Accountability is maintained through clear lesson objectives, structured learning plans, practical assignments, progress evaluations, regular revision, and personalized feedback that supports continuous growth.
Besides Spanish, I also teach grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary development, conversation practice, reading comprehension, writing, listening skills, beginner Spanish, travel Spanish, DELE preparation, and Hispanic culture. My goal is to help students become fluent, confident, and motivated Spanish speakers prepared for lifelong learning.
