About Ryan
Hello, I’m Ryan. I’m studying BSc (Hons) in Forensic Psychology at university and have previously studied Applied Science at college. I have a big passion for biology, chemistry and physics (and science in general) as it’s always exciting and forever changing. I would love to help teach people fascinating science subjects and help them feel confident and encouraged to answer questions in class, furthering their knowledge.

I ensure everyone is accommodated throughout the lessons, as there isn’t one teaching style. Instead, I usually like to see what you understand and what you need to work on in a specific topic and then tie them both together. This is done by breaking the work down by simplifying the topic, gradually adding more detail, reviewing examples, and trying past paper questions. Therefore, it will help develop your knowledge steadily while reviewing examples of questions, helping you apply your knowledge to questions you may be asked in exams. Since I am in University, I have had many experiences with sitting exams. This has allowed me to learn and analyse how exam papers are worded and enabled me to pick up the marks the examiners seek. This is done by writing my answers well, depending on the question’s wording, and correctly using and understanding scientific words. This will make you feel more confident in your knowledge and help you answer those tricky questions on exam papers

Ryan is very calm and supportive. My daughter works very hard but sometimes in a classroom, things don't always click straight away. Ryan goes at the pace of the student to break it down and make sure they truly understand at the pace that works for them. He is very thorough and has given my daughter so much confidence, not just in science but in staying calm in all of her exams. Ryan is tryly a great tutor!!
Ryan is patient and has a deep understanding of biology, allowing for more targeted lessons to each students strengths and weaknesses in accordance curriculum. He is very nurturing and constructive in building up knowledge of systematic processes within human and other organisms.
