About Melanie
Namaste :) I am a former dancer and musical performer, english/italian mother tongue, graduated at "Istituto Laura Bassi-Liceo delle Scienze Sociali" in Bologna. For seven years I lived abroad, in the United Arab Emirates, and traveled as a brand ambassador and flight attendant for a well-known airline. This contact with a cosmopolitan environment made me discover different customs and cultures, with wonderful traditions, and brought me closer to Reiki. I will always be grateful to my Indian master from Hyderabad who initiated me into this wonderful discipline, which consists in channeling the energy that surrounds us and use it for the highest good; in fact it is used for our own well-being and that of others, and consists of "laying our hands" on specific parts or chakras. Reiki has attracted many positive things in my life, it has taught me the importance of stillness and meditation, filled with gratitude and inner peace.

For those wishing to learn Reiki, I am a certified Usui Reiki Master recognized by the AIRA (American International Reiki Association). I teach I, II, III level courses preferably live but also online. Reiki courses usually take place over a long day or over two days, to be agreed with the student. For those wishing not only to practice but to become a master of this discipline, you can also access the Master level after completion of the third level.
In the first level the following subjects are covered:
- what is Reiki
- history of Reiki and Mikao Usui
- the seven chakras
- meditations
- self treatment and hand positions
- Reiki used on people, animals, plants
- activation of the channels
-practice of a Reiki treatment and exchange of Reiki
-considerations between teacher and student
In the second level we deal with:
-Reiki treatments
-Reiki symbols and their meaning
-use of the three main symbols
-activation of symbols
- Distance Reiki, how it works
- purification of a room
In the third level we cover:
- specific disorders and treatments
- the fourth symbol and how to trace it
- other symbols
- activations
As for individual Reiki treatments, for those who want to receive them for physical/articular and blockages/tensions or emotional issues (stress, anxiety, etc.), the treatment usually lasts one hour after a short chat.
