About Jenica
During my PGCE this year, I worked in two inner London state schools with students in KS3 and KS4. Having trained this year, I have experience of both classroom and online teaching.
Prior to my teacher training, I tutored two KS3 students preparing for the beginning of their GCSE course, spent a year teaching English to secondary-school students in France and ran an after-school French club in a primary school in Leeds. In 2020, I graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class degree in French. I would love to offer my services this summer.

My lessons follow the structure of: (i) starter activity, which either introduces a new topic/concept or recaps from the previous lesson; (ii) two main activities, which build on and develop existing knowledge; (iii) plenary, which determines the extent to which learning outcomes have been achieved and identifies areas for further improvement. Activities are designed to develop explicit and implicit knowledge of the four key skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking).
