About Megan
I want to become a tutor because I enjoy learning and would love to become a teacher when I am older. I enjoy the subjects I can teach, which makes me enthusiastic about helping others understand and enjoy them too. I would like to support students who may find certain topics difficult and help them build their confidence. I think tutoring would be a great opportunity for me to develop my communication and teaching skills while gaining experience for my future career. I would be patient, encouraging and supportive, and I would enjoy seeing students make progress and achieve their goals.

I would be a good tutor because I can combine direct instruction with guided practice to help students understand and build confidence. I would clearly explain new topics and demonstrate examples so that students have a strong understanding of the subject. I would then support them as they practise, breaking difficult tasks into smaller, manageable steps. As their confidence and ability improve, I would gradually reduce my support so they can complete tasks independently. This approach would allow me to adapt my teaching to each student's needs while helping them become more confident and independent learners.
