About Eloise
I spent a year working in France in 2015-16 as an English teacher. I taught ages 14-26 at a secondary school and was also a private English tutor for a 12 year old French boy. In the school I did one-to-one conversation practice and also led classes of up to 15 students at a time.

I'm a recent graduate of the University of Leeds, and after achieving a first in French and Linguistics I'm providing English tutoring over the summer, and doing a formal TEFL qualification in September. I'm teaching all levels, and I'm creative with methods, focussing on confidence and fluency whilst gently correcting grammar and pronunciation mistakes. I think language learning should be a fun experience and I hope our lessons reflect this!

I had Eloise as English teacher and I can't be happier with her. Her didactic way of explaining grammar and her knowledge about languages pronunciation makes her a very complete teacher. Also, she always understands quickly where your problems or mistakes are coming from. Thanks to her degree and skills in languages she's definitively one of the best teachers I've ever had.
