About Tara
I am a recent Psychology BSc graduate, working as a part-time SEN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream primary school and in research at UCL Institute of Education. I am passionate about learning, language, creativity and accessibility. I aspire to eventually work as an Educational Psychologist, in research and policy. I have taught English throughout my degree and have worked as an educator in a variety of special educational needs contexts. In my spare time I love visual art, reading and attending live poetry events. I am accepting students for primary school level English!

I want my students to have the best foundation to express themselves confidently. I am keen to support creative and individual written voices. I can construct lessons based on year group syllabuses. I am also happy to adapt my lessons to focus on particular needs or skills that my students wish to focus on. I have taught English at primary school level during my degree and I have lots of experience working as a primary school Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant and in specialist SEN schools. I am currently tutoring students from 5-11 years old (UK primary school age range).
