About Danny
I have tutored and instructed writers with writing experiences falling across a large spectrum:
1. I've worked with beginner writers to help them develop their writing voices, create solid and fun writing structures, and implement clear focuses in their writing. Additionally, I've taught toddlers how to write the alphabet with fun coloring activities, and elementary school children how to spell and construct sentences.
2. I've worked with intermediate writers to help them expand and explore intriguing storylines, and have taught grammar and writing organization to experienced writers.
3. I've even worked with collegiate scholars to help them find a starting point in their writing, develop arguments, brainstorm story plots and practice descriptive writing--these were some of my best students. I was "rewarded" a "Best Tutor--Biggest Helper" award that my three student-athletes worked together to create for a) my passion for writing and willingness to help, and b) for helping them Like writing and helping them get A's in their writing courses.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics from Stony Brook University, where I also minored in both Creative Writing and Writing & Rhetoric.
I am a master of words, combining my passion for creative writing with my strong academic writing skills. Diction is very important in any form of writing; I will show you how to optimize your story-telling through selective word choice and how to contextualize any concept no matter how abstract.
With brainstorming techniques, fun writing prompts, reading-out-loud activities, writing and reading poetry, browsing the web for inspiration (images), and a cool online scavenger hunt; you will learn to craft a satisfactory story, leaving you content and fulfilled!
