I have a degree in philosophy from the University of Bristol. Having graduated last year I’m still up to date with exam material and how courses operate. Having dyslexia myself enables me to work creatively with people, and approach material in a non-written/more engaging way.

I base everything I do round students own ideas and experiences. Far too often I was taught to read from a page and “Make notes”. While this is useful, it skips the most important stage of learning - the engagement. By discussing ideas first and painting a larger picture of how the knowledge is relevant, students are then keen to build around these thoughts with corse material.
