About Elizabeth
Full time professional Access and Outreach Officer within the Admissions Office of an Oxford College for 2 years. Regular conversations with admissions tutors to understand in detail what they look for, including discussing personal statements; knowledge I can now share with you.
I designed and delivered numerous workshops designed to increase participants' chances of successfully applying to Oxford in a range of subjects, covering College choice, personal statements, teachers' references, admissions tests and interviews.
I retain contacts in numerous Outreach and Admissions Offices and so maintain up to date knowledge of current practices and trends in admissions beyond what is generally available.
Recent teacher of KS3, GCSE and A-Level Geography, SEN support across KS3 and GCSE curriculum. Genuine experience in designing and delivering lessons which were regularly assessed as excellent. Particular knowledge of AQA syllabi. SEN support sessions covering range of subjects, especially History and Business Studies.
Experience in working with and learning with dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD and I will tailor content and pacing to every student.

From my teaching experience I am accustomed to tailoring lessons to each student and their needs, you will receive bespoke support from me. I will encourage you and push you to push yourself, all in a supportive environment where no questions are 'stupid', they are all learning opportunities. As well as drawing on my own educational experiences, A-Levels and an Oxford degree, I offer genuine expertise and experience from time in University outreach and secondary school teaching.
Oxbridge Admissions Coaching:
Support with College / Subject choice, Personal statement writing, teachers' reference advice, and interview technique. Personal drafts will be developed and reviewed to be as strong as possible in content and style and interview training will begin with general academic discussions up to realistic mock interviews (based on observing real Oxford interviews on a regular basis).
I also welcome students applying for non-Oxbridge competitive courses who are seeking extra personal statement or interview support.
Geography:
KS3, GCSE and A-Level support across all syllabus topics offered, drawing upon expertise in both content and exam technique from time as a school teacher. Personalised pace and focus to ensure firm grasp of content and the exam skills to get the marks for it.
