About Faith
The basics: I recently graduated with honors, a bachelor's in Communications, and a minor in Creative Writing. For six semesters, I worked as a volunteer tutor through a church-funded group that focused on memorization, literacy, and teamwork among students K-5th grade. Some of my responsibilities included listening to student recitations, coaching their literacy skills, providing real-life mentorship, etcetera.
The fun stuff: English has been my specific passion for a very long time. I have written two novels that I intend to publish, and I am a huge fan of classic literature. That’s why I am particularly interested in tutoring for English, because I believe good literacy skills are the foundation for a great education.
Learning can, in fact, be fun!

My approach to tutoring is tailored to each student, ensuring that I focus on their well-being and success as a whole. Each lesson allows the student to highlight what excites THEM to learn. Sometimes that's games, or sometimes a classic, classroom-esque session. Whatever motivates them is my specialty.
As someone with a deep passion for English (and, more specifically, the art of creative writing), I tutor students K-12 with literacy, grammar, reading comprehension, and all the building blocks needed for a firm English foundation. My lessons help students write a phenomenal essay, craft gorgeous prose, or conquer that spelling bee.
